utraTec provides a team of experienced and knowledgeable toxicology professionals. They conduct toxicology evaluations to assess the safety of ingredients, nutritional products, and pharmaceutical compounds.
Animal Studies:

• Subacute, subchronic, metabolism, oncogenic, teratologic and reproduction studies are performed in rodents, rabbits, dogs, pigs and primates in accordance with SOPs and GLPs and reviewed by the animal care and use committee
• Adhere to guidelines of the FDA, EPA, and Red Book as needed
• Directed by a veterinarian/toxicologist and carried out by trained animal care personnel

• Gross necropsy and microscopic histopathology conducted by a board certified pathologist
• Clinical and analytical chemistries supported with GLC, HPLC, and spectrophotometric instrumentation

• Computer-supported data entry
• Statistical analyses and interpretation of results provided in reports
• Quality assurance group to monitor and verify raw data and reports
